Keyword Difficulty Checker

Look up one keyword’s organic difficulty estimate from a named provider’s database, with its market and data context clearly shown.

Setup required · data source not connected

Automatic results are not available yet

The site owner must connect and verify a supported data source before checks can run. No keyword will be sent and no demonstration score is shown as a real result.

Keyword difficulty lookup

Bulk mode requires the administrator to enable a verified DataForSEO source. Single-keyword lookup also supports Ahrefs and Semrush.

Up to 200 characters. Enter a single keyword or phrase, without commas or semicolons.

This is a database estimate, not a live Google search, a ranking guarantee or advertising competition. A check sends your keyword list and market to the site’s selected provider.

Read the metric in its source’s context

Keyword difficulty is a provider’s proprietary organic-competition estimate on its own 0–100 scale. Different providers use different data and methods; their scores are not directly interchangeable. A low score does not promise a ranking, and a missing value is not zero difficulty.

Database coverage and dates

Country selects the provider’s keyword database market, not a precise city, device or personalized search. DataForSEO queries use English; other sources do not provide a language selector here. Retrieval time tells you when this site obtained the report, not when the provider last updated its database. Any source update date is shown only when returned.

Use a broader research picture

Consider relevance, search intent, content quality and the actual competing pages alongside this estimate. You can review returned search-page evidence separately with the SERP Analyzer.

Data and privacy

Do not enter private information. This one-time checker does not create an account history or store reports in your browser. If the administrator enables shared caching, normalized reports may be retained for up to ten minutes and their cache age is shown. Human verification and usage counters protect the service. Server, CDN and provider logs follow their own policies. Optional report downloads are created in your browser.
