Know the boundaries

This is not an anonymous competitor checker, local rankings report, citation audit or ownership-verification service. A missing optional field is not automatically a problem. Service-area businesses may intentionally omit an address.

Questions before connecting

Can I audit any business?

No. This version uses Google Business Profile APIs for profiles your own Google account can access. It is not an anonymous Maps or competitor scraper. Local Website Evidence is a separate public website tool.

What must the administrator configure?

An approved Google Business Profile API project, enabled APIs, OAuth web client and any required consent verification. No paid connector is installed or purchased. The page is live before this setup; a live source result is not yet verified.

Why does the connection request management permission?

Google requires the business.manage OAuth scope for these methods. It permits management, not just reading. This plugin implements fixed reads only and never edits profiles, replies or posts. Connect only if you accept that broader grant.

Is this a complete audit or a score?

No score is invented. Returned fields and categories need owner review. Optional fields may not apply. Reviews and posts are one bounded page each, not a complete historical analysis. Rankings, citations, engagement, ownership verification and factual correctness are not tested.

Are private reports stored or exported?

No history, provider-content downloads or scheduled collection. Report and selector data stay in this private browser workspace and clear after 30 minutes or session expiry. The server retains an encrypted short-lived token and content-free quota counters, not report content. Reviewer names, comments and media are omitted.

How do I disconnect?

Disconnect removes this login session token locally. Remove the app separately in your Google Account to revoke its Google grant. Logging out clears the current local connection; no refresh token is retained.
