Writing formats can restore a small set of known terms such as SEO. Developer formats normalize those terms as part of the identifier. Follow the naming convention and validity rules of the system where you will use the result.
Title case, sentence case and capitalized case: which should you use?
These three options solve different formatting problems.
Sentence case gives ordinary prose a capital at the beginning of each detected sentence. Use it to repair an all-caps paragraph, format a description or prepare a sentence-style heading. Proper nouns still need checking.
Title Case capitalizes headline words while leaving common small words lowercase in ordinary positions. For example, the guide to seo becomes The Guide to SEO.
Capitalized Case starts every word with a capital, including small words such as “to” and “the.” The same input becomes The Guide To SEO.
The current Title Case option uses a general English rule set. If a journal, teacher, publisher or brand requires APA, MLA, AP, Chicago or another named style, check the finished heading against that guide.

Code names and data labels

Check names, punctuation and language-specific casing
A capitalization rule cannot always tell whether a word is a person, a product or an ordinary noun. The converter recognizes a small fixed list of terms, including AI, API, HTML and SEO. It does not recognize every proper noun or preserve every brand spelling.
Review names such as iPhone, McDonald and NASA, along with possessives, hyphenated compounds, initials and abbreviations. Sentence boundaries are estimated from punctuation and line breaks rather than a full grammatical analysis.
Writing modes keep spaces and punctuation in place while changing letters. Developer modes treat punctuation and spaces as word separators, so they can remove or replace them in the result.
The converter supports many accented and non-English letters, but its title and sentence rules are designed around English. Some uppercase mappings also change length: straße can become STRASSE. When length matters, count the converted result rather than relying on the input count.

How do I change uppercase to lowercase?

Choose Capitalized Case. For a headline that keeps common small words lowercase, choose Title Case instead. Review possessives and compound words before publishing.
What is the difference between toggle case and alternating case?
Toggle Case flips each letter’s existing capitalization: Hello SEO becomes hELLO seo. Alternating Case applies a repeating lower/upper pattern: the guide to seo becomes tHe GuIdE tO sEo.
Does Title Case follow APA, MLA, AP or Chicago style?
The current option applies a general English title pattern and does not offer selectable named-style presets. Use your required style guide to check the result, particularly small words, subtitles and hyphenated compounds.
Can this tool format APA or MLA citations?

Can I paste text from Word, Google Docs or a PDF?
Yes, you can paste text you have copied from those sources. The converter works with plain text; it does not import the source document or retain fonts, images, tables and other rich formatting. Check line breaks introduced when copying from a PDF.
Can I convert a list of identifiers line by line?
The current developer modes combine words from all input lines into one result. Convert each item separately when you need one output identifier per input row.
Is there a word minimum or a paid conversion limit?
There is no word minimum, account requirement or paid quota in this converter. Start with a single word or a longer passage. Very large pastes may slow down depending on your browser and device.
What if the Copy result button does not work?

Does changing capitalization improve Google rankings?
