SEO Log Analyzer

Local files · No paid API · No log upload

Turn an access-log sample into crawl evidence

Select a plain UTF-8 Common or Combined log, or try the synthetic example below. The isolated workspace reports request patterns, response groups, declared crawlers and paths worth reviewing. It does not measure Google’s actual crawl budget or prove bot identity.

Log contents stay inside this tool’s browser workspace. Reports omit IPs, authenticated usernames, referrers, raw agents and query values. Paths can still contain personal identifiers: review any export before sharing.

Questions about SEO Log Analyzer

Does the analyzer upload my access logs?

No. This module processes selected files or pasted samples inside an isolated browser workspace. It does not upload log contents, save server reports or use a paid API. The surrounding site page still makes normal page and asset requests. Paths can contain private information, so review exports before sharing.

Which log formats are supported?

Standard Apache or Nginx Common and Combined access-log records in plain UTF-8 text are supported. Common records do not contain user-agent evidence. Custom columns, compressed files, IIS W3C and arbitrary JSON exports are not supported in this version.

Does a Googlebot label prove the crawler identity?

No. All crawler labels are unverified user-agent declarations, which can be spoofed. The analyzer performs no DNS or IP-range verification. Missing and nonmatching agents are unclassified, not proven human visitors.

Does this measure my actual crawl budget?

No. It summarizes the supplied sample, not Google’s allocated capacity or demand. Repeated errors, redirects or query-bearing requests are review candidates, not proof of wasted budget. Samples do not establish indexing, rankings, visitors or complete website traffic.

Are there limits and admin controls?

Yes. The administrator controls enabled formats, file, line, path and output limits, exports and page assignment. Input and processing caps remain visible. A stopped or capped scan is labelled partial; an invalid file does not receive a successful report.
