AI Visibility Monitoring Services
Know how AI search represents your business over time
A single AI answer can show your business prominently, omit it entirely or describe an old version of your offer. Your team needs a repeatable way to inspect those observations and decide which changes deserve attention.

EduGuestPost’s AI visibility monitoring services help you follow brand mentions, linked sources and important business descriptions across an agreed set of questions and platforms. We define the monitoring sample, review available answer evidence, compare suitable periods and turn the findings into practical priorities.
The engagement gives you a record your team can inspect: what was checked, what appeared, what changed and what needs further investigation. Collection methods, platform coverage and reporting frequency are agreed before monitoring begins.
Discuss your AI visibility monitoring scope. Send your website, priority products or services, target markets and the AI search experiences your audience uses.
01 / A reviewable engagement
What you receive
The scope can include authorized provider reports and website analytics alongside captured answers. We confirm data availability, access and any collection costs first. A regular reporting service does not automatically include a software subscription, a hosted dashboard or connections to every AI platform.
A documented question set grouped by customer task, topic and market.
Brand names, aliases, owned domains and competitors to match against the answers.
Baseline observations and subsequent comparisons using a stated collection method.
A report that retains answer evidence, coverage notes and the calculation behind each measure.
Reviewed findings, recommended next actions and owners for follow-up.
When monitoring is useful
This service suits a marketing team checking a launch or repositioning, a business concerned about incorrect descriptions, or an SEO team that needs more context than traditional rankings provide. It also helps establish whether a pattern deserves content work, source research or a technical investigation.
Monitoring identifies observations to investigate. Page rewriting, development and outreach can be scoped separately when the evidence supports them.
Prepare your enquiry
Turn your priorities into a monitoring brief
Outline your business, questions and reporting needs, then review the brief before adding it to your enquiry.
02 / Signals with definitions
Measure distinct outcomes with clear counting rules
Being named in an answer differs from being linked as a source. A citation can point to your guide without introducing your business, and a brand mention can appear without a link. We report these separately.
| Measure | What we examine | How the scope stays clear |
|---|---|---|
| Brand presence | Whether the answer names the intended business or product. | Approved aliases, context checks and complete answer text define eligible observations. |
| Owned-source citations | Whether references link to an agreed domain or page. | Domain presence and individual URL counts remain distinct; reference completeness is recorded. |
| Answer accuracy | Whether important descriptions match approved business facts. | Findings retain the claim, evidence and review status; sentiment is a separate assessment. |
| Competitor presence | Which agreed competitors appear in the same sample. | Comparisons retain the same questions, platforms, periods and matching rules. |
| Identifiable website activity | Available referrals and relevant actions after a visit. | Analytics coverage and attribution limits remain visible; a citation is not a conversion. |
Keep the denominator beside the percentage
For a sampled mention rate, we count eligible answers containing the brand against eligible complete answers in that sample. For a domain citation rate, we count eligible answers linking to the domain against observations with sufficient reference evidence. Repeated links from one domain do not automatically become several domain appearances in one answer.
Each report shows the included observations, exclusions and sample size. If a share-of-voice measure is useful, its formula and comparison group are stated. Vendor scores retain their vendor definitions; identical labels across tools do not establish identical calculations.
An incomplete answer or failed request is not evidence that your business was absent. A positive citation found in partial evidence can still be recorded, while missing information remains unresolved.
Keep platform results identifiable
Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and the Gemini app are different experiences. ChatGPT search, Perplexity, Copilot and Claude also need their own collection labels. We agree which surfaces matter and which can be observed through suitable sources.
API output is labeled as API output. It should not be presented as an identical reproduction of what every person sees in a consumer interface. Settings, location and conversation context can affect the observation.
03 / The questions behind the numbers
Build a question set around your customers
We start with your offer and the decisions customers need to make. Sales questions, support themes, approved customer research and keyword research can inform the monitoring list. Generated suggestions are reviewed as proposed questions; they do not reveal private user conversations or measured AI prompt demand.
The set may cover discovering a solution, comparing suppliers, checking suitability and understanding a specific feature. Questions that name your business are grouped separately from questions that test discovery without naming it. Otherwise, a strong result on “What does this company do?” can conceal weak coverage of the category.
Preserve a useful comparison and keep learning
For the agreed reporting period, we retain a defined comparison set. New products, changed customer needs and newly discovered questions can enter a separate exploratory set. When the main set changes, the report records the version and establishes the basis for the next comparison.
Changing the questions, competitor list or brand-matching rules can change the results even when the underlying answers have not improved. We disclose those changes rather than joining unlike observations into one uninterrupted trend.
A follow-up conversation is also a separate test from a fresh question. Where follow-up testing matters, we document the earlier turns and keep that group identifiable.
Choose collection and reporting frequency together
The plan states which questions run on which platforms, markets and languages, how often they are checked, and when your team receives a reviewed report. Collection and reporting do not have to happen at the same frequency.
We consider the decision involved, answer variability, available connections, cost and review capacity. More repeated observations may be appropriate before acting on an important change. There is no universal number of prompts or runs that makes every campaign representative of all AI users.
A transparent sample example
Suppose an illustrative batch attempts 20 checks. Sixteen produce usable complete answer text, and four mention the brand: 25% of those 16 answers. Only 12 observations have complete reference evidence, and three cite the owned domain: 25% of those 12.
The report retains all 20 attempts and explains both denominators. The matching percentages describe different events. They do not establish that a quarter of all AI users saw the business.
Explore the sample calculation
Use supplied counts to see how different denominators affect the two rates.
04 / Evidence into action
Receive a report that supports a decision
Your report should help the team choose its next action. The agreed format can bring together a concise summary, observations by topic and platform, comparisons with earlier periods, selected answer excerpts and an ordered investigation list.
We distinguish a confirmed factual error from a possible match problem, a recurring citation pattern from a single unusual response, and a collection failure from a visibility change. Automated classification, where used, helps prioritize review; important interpretations retain human review and supporting evidence.

Investigate changes before assigning a cause
A rise in mentions can follow a changed sample or collection method. A lost citation can reflect a different answer, a missing reference list or a source that is no longer available. We check those possibilities before recommending website work.
Dates of content updates, product changes and relevant campaign activity can be retained as annotations. Observing a change after an update does not by itself prove that the update caused it.
The handover identifies the affected question, platform and source, why the finding matters, and the next step. That could be verifying a product claim, reviewing a page with SEO consulting support, or preparing a focused content refresh.
Keep answer accuracy tied to approved facts
You provide the current information used to assess important claims: supported capabilities, service areas, eligibility, product availability and relevant limitations. We flag discrepancies with the captured wording and review status.
A fictional booking-software company might discover repeated answers describing an integration it no longer offers. The useful action is to inspect the referenced sources and compare them with current approved documentation. An owned page may need updating; an external description may need a correction request. Later observations can show whether the issue recurs. This is an illustration, with no client result implied.
Agree which findings warrant an alert
If alerting is included, the scope defines triggers, destinations, review expectations and supported delivery methods. A new factual error or repeated loss across important questions may deserve attention; every small wording change may not.
Automated alerts depend on the selected source and connection. We confirm availability before committing to them. A monitoring report alone does not authorize publication, account changes or messages to a third-party publisher.
05 / Context from each source
Combine evidence sources without blending their meanings
Captured answers show what appeared under the recorded conditions. Provider reports describe activity within their stated coverage. Website analytics describes measurable visits and actions. Each adds context, but the numbers should retain their own definitions.
Google currently documents a generative AI impressions report for Search. Where the property has sufficient data and access is available, it can add page, country, device and date context. These impressions are a provider measure, separate from the presence rate in a custom question set.
Bing’s AI Performance reporting describes citations across supported Microsoft and partner experiences. Its topic features have coverage and classification limits. We use the report available to your property and retain its definitions rather than describing it as a complete view of all AI search.
Website analytics can help identify referrals and subsequent actions where tracking permits. It does not reveal everyone who read an answer without visiting. Direct traffic growth, branded search and customer self-reports may add context, but cannot automatically be credited to monitoring or to AI search.

| AI Citation Checker | Inspect reference markers and passage mappings in a captured answer. | A mapped reference does not prove factual support or reveal every citation to a website. |
Before you begin
Questions before you start
Can you monitor every mention of our business in AI?
No. We monitor the agreed questions, platforms, datasets and periods. Private conversations and the full range of possible prompts are not available through a custom sample. The report describes the coverage actually obtained.
Can we track competitors alongside our brand?
Yes, within an agreed comparison set and supported evidence sources. We define the competitor names and domains, review ambiguous matches and compare equivalent observations. Changing competitors can change a relative share metric, so the reporting history records that change.
Will a low score tell us exactly what to fix?
A score summarizes observations under a particular method. We inspect the underlying questions, answers and references before recommending work. An absent mention does not independently prove a technical problem, a missing page or a need to buy a placement.
Does monitoring improve our visibility automatically?
Monitoring provides evidence for decisions. Content editing, technical implementation and publisher work require their own scope and approvals. Neither monitoring nor subsequent changes guarantee a citation, ranking or commercial outcome.
Can we use our existing monitoring software?
We can assess relevant exports or authorized access when defining the engagement. The scope confirms what the source supplies, its update frequency, usable history and reporting permissions. Proprietary scores remain labeled, and switching sources may require a new baseline.
Is the service a one-time audit or a recurring program?
This offer centers on repeated observations and reviewed comparisons at agreed intervals. A one-time website diagnosis or citation-readiness assessment is a different brief. If wider site problems are the immediate concern, start with our SEO audit services.
What determines the cost?
The question set, platforms, markets, repeat frequency, collection source, data history and depth of review affect the work. Dashboard setup, alert delivery and implementation are included only when stated. We confirm costs and responsibilities before starting.
