Google Ads Account Audit

Review campaign performance and conversion-action settings in your own account. See what the data supports—and what still needs investigation.

Free official API · Private connection · No campaign changes

Google connection: setup required

The page is public, but live account audits are not connected yet. The administrator must finish Google Ads API project access and OAuth setup. Then each visitor can connect their own account.

No paid connector is required. No account data has been checked on this page.

A focused account review

Campaign evidence

Spend, clicks, impressions and recorded conversions across completed dates in your account's time zone.

Configuration context

Auto-tagging, campaign bidding types and conversion-action categories, with reasons to investigate.

Visible limits

Bounded rows, partial sections and reporting delays remain visible. Returned spend is not presented as an account total.

Evidence is not an automatic verdict

Zero recorded conversions does not prove wasted spend. This preview does not inspect keywords, search terms, creatives, billing or campaign goal overrides, and does not prove conversion tracking works. It never adjusts budgets, bids or campaigns.

Questions

Can I audit a competitor?

No. Sign in here and authorize your own Google account. Google must grant you access to the selected Ads account. There is no shared administrator account connection.

Is a paid API required?

No paid connector is needed. The official Google Ads API is free, but the administrator must configure an OAuth web client, enable the API and obtain appropriate Cloud-project access for production accounts. Public OAuth verification may be required.

Why does Google request broad permission?

Google Ads uses the adwords scope, which permits viewing and managing Ads data. There is no read-only scope for these methods. This plugin implements only account-list and fixed search reads; it does not implement campaign mutations. Use a Google account with read-only Ads access where practical.

What does the audit cover?

Current account settings, non-removed campaigns with metrics over 7, 30 or 90 completed account-local days, and conversion-action configuration. Each section is capped at the admin limit of 10–500 rows. Truncation and unavailable sections are labeled. Manager client discovery is also bounded.

Does zero conversions mean wasted spend?

No. Conversion delay, attribution, tracking setup and campaign objectives can explain it. The report presents review candidates, not waste estimates, bidding advice or proof that tracking works.

What remains outside this release?

Keyword and search-term analysis, creatives, audience targeting, billing, campaign goal overrides, comprehensive manager-owned conversion tracking and live tag execution. Current conversion settings may differ from the historical reporting period.

What is stored?

An encrypted access token bound to your website user and login session expires within one hour. No refresh token, report history or account inventory is stored by this module. Temporary rate counters contain no account names or IDs. Reports stay in the browser; downloads contain private data.

How do I disconnect?

Disconnect locally removes this session connection. Revoking the broader Google grant is a separate action in your Google Account. Reconnecting replaces the temporary local token. No background audits run.
