Crawl Budget Audit: owner-connected activity
Connect one Common or Combined server log using our free owner-hosted connector. Review private, dated route-group and declared-crawler counts. No raw log upload, paid API or automatic account creation.
Read connector setup and limitations · Analyze a local file without connecting a source
1. Create your project
Use your own existing account. Reports belong to you, not to an anonymous browser session.
2. Connect your source
Install the connector on infrastructure you control, test it, then opt into scheduling there.
3. Review the evidence
Read dated counts, processing gaps and source limitations before making technical SEO changes.
Questions before connecting
Can this check any domain anonymously?
No. A site owner must connect an access log they control. A domain alone cannot reveal private Googlebot activity. This page explains setup; reports require an existing signed-in account.
What is sent to EduGuestPost?
Only fixed route-group, UTC day, declared-agent and response-group counts, plus bounded processing flags. The official connector does not transmit raw lines, IPs, exact URLs, query values, referrers or authentication fields. Private aggregates still reveal activity patterns, so share exports carefully.
Is this actual Google crawl budget?
No. Google describes budget as capacity and demand. This tool summarizes the connected source; user-agent labels are unverified and spoofable. Origin logs omit CDN-served requests. No indexation, rankings, wasted-budget score or complete traffic total is inferred.
Does this require a paid API?
No. The connector uses Node.js and a log on your own infrastructure. You need the ability to run it, read that log and schedule it. It does not install itself or enable WordPress account registration.
How do I stop collection?
Stop the connector schedule and revoke its credential in your private workspace. Deleting your project also removes its saved batches. Retention and storage/report caps apply; this is not a backup of your original logs.
